Johnnie Johnson Housing publishes second ESG report
Johnnie Johnson Housing publishes second ESG report (Environmental, Social and Governance) for the 2022/23 period. This report highlights our continued commitment to sustainability, social impact, and ethical operations.
A key highlight is the positive feedback from our residents. In tenant satisfaction surveys, residents rated the housing association 4 out of 5 stars in overall customer satisfaction and for services like maintenance, repairs, and estate services. This shows that we are delivering on our mission to provide quality affordable housing and empower communities.
The ESG report details several other achievements over the last year:
- Built 13 new homes for affordable rent.
- 100% of our homes have completed an accredited gas safety check.
- We continued to support Sheffield University and Liverpool John Moores University on a number of projects
- Our waste management contractor on a recent development recycled 95% of their waste.
- Our commitment to taking an active approach on wellbeing to attract, recruit, retain, develop and engage our colleagues.
ESG reporting is much more than a set of metrics, or a reporting framework, it is a language that helps us communicate outcomes and the positive impact we have, as a housing provider, on society, the economy and the environment. Through this report, we can therefore demonstrate what it is Johnnie Johnson Housing stands for.
