During January, you may have seen our Beat the Winter Blues campaign…
Beat the Winter Blues 2023 was such a heartwarming success, we couldn’t wait to spread the cheer again this year! We know the Winter months can be difficult at times, so we seized this opportunity to help improve the wellbeing of our residents. This year, we have teamed up with local businesses and partners to provide goodie bags filled with comforting items like adults and kids bedding such as Zelda, Minecraft and Lego, colouring books, duvet sets and snacks. Our generous partners have also donated shopping vouchers and vouchers to grab a hot drink at nearby Costa cafes.
Our Wellbeing and Communications teams have already delivered over 50 goodie bags and vouchers to selected residents and we have arranged for more treats to get delivered in the coming weeks.
‘During the Winter months, and especially after Christmas, January and February can be more difficult for residents, both mentally and financially. We are so pleased that we are able to offer residents a treat, be that big or small, and spread some happiness amongst our communities. We want to continue to build on the success of the Beat The Winter Blues campaign each year and are always looking for new partners to join us.’
