As a housing provider, Johnnie Johnson Housing are regulated by The Regulator of Social Housing, and they exist to ensure housing providers are meeting their standards, which covers three main areas.
Governance and Financial Viability Standard
This looks at how well an organisation is run and is it financially viable it is.
Value for Money Standard
This looks at whether the provider makes the best use of the resources it has to meet its objectives.
Rent Standard
This looks at whether our rents are set in accordance with Government policy for social housing.
We work hard to ensure we constantly meet these standards and maintain our regulatory ratings for Governance and Viability.
Today, we’d like to share this video from Yvonne Castle, Group CEO at Johnnie Johnson Housing with an important update in relation to one of our regulatory ratings, which has been regraded to reflect the current economic environment we are operating within in relation to inflation, interest rates and rent increases.
