Sue Lock

Sue is an experienced housing professional and leader, having served on housing associations and charity boards since the late 1980s and is currently serving on two other housing association boards, one of which, also specialises in older persons services.   

Sue’s first job after graduating from Sheffield Hallam was with the housing regulator The Housing Corporation. Her first front line role in Housing was with Places for People as a Housing Officer.   

Her experience at an executive level includes being CEO of Wulvern Housing – a stock transfer housing association where she successfully achieved transfer and implemented cultural change programmes, structured finance deals, and large development and improvement programmes. Following the merger with The Guinness Partnership in January 2017 she became Director of Strategy for Old People, retiring from full-time roles in May 2018.
