Landscape and Garden Maintenance - Schedule 2024

Our grounds maintenance team provide grass cutting, leaf clearance, and other services that vary by season. These exterior specialists maintain the green spaces across the properties as the year progresses. Below you can find a calendar of our scheduled work for 2024.

Grass Cutting – Rather than collecting grass clippings after mowing, we leave them in place to nourish the lawn. The clippings act as a natural fertilizer as they decompose, providing nutrients for the grass.

Leaf Clearance – Early attendance is to keep pathways clear of fallen leaves, with our aim to be leaf free by end of January.

Formal Grass Edging – Grass edges will be trimmed in the Summer months while grass edging will be undertaken with half moon edger in Winter.

Litter Clearance – Our team will be clearing wind blown litter at the start of visits.

Planting areas maintained to a weed-free condition – Planting areas to be turned over and weed free.

Herbicide application to hard surfaces – Moss is sprayed and removed once per year during October.

Hedge trimming – We will ensure fast growing hedges such as Privet, Laurels and Conifers are maintained for safety and access purposes, with mechanical hedge cutters.

Hedges – All other – Two visits have been established to maintain slow growing hedges, such as Beeches. During these visits the hedges will be trimmed to a workable height with mechanical hedge cutters.
